Joan Inglis is the Founder and Executive Director of Charity Event Resources Inc., a non-profit organization that provides decor and real estate assistance to other non-profit agencies in the Charlotte region. As a company, Carolina Spaces gives a portion of the net proceeds from every project we complete to our non-profit organization. We actively support Gracious Hands Transitional Housing Inc., a non-profit organization in Charlotte, NC that provides temporary shelter while educating, encouraging and empowering women with children to attain a brighter future economically, socially and spiritually.
Over the years Carolina Spaces has also supported numerous charity home tours, including Good Samaritan House and Home of Distinction. We have supplied furnishings, home staging, and marketing services to benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte, Clover Area Assistance Center, Levine Children's Hospital and Our Towns Habitat for Humanity. Joan Inglis' work on the 2009 Good Samaritan House Charity Home Tour, the first professionally staged home put on public tour in the Charlotte region, was awarded the NCHBA STARS award for Best Special Project - Marketing.
