The Realtor® for this resale property in Charlotte reached out to Carolina Spaces to help get the lived-in home market ready. Our team viewed the property to devise a staging plan and make updating suggestions. In this case, a new paint color was recommended to freshen up the space.
As part of our staging plan, we determined which furnishings would stay, which would be better relocated in another area in the home, and which needed to be moved to storage.
For lived-in Staging, Carolina Spaces uses the homeowner's furnishings wherever possible to save the homeowner the cost of furniture rental. In this case, it was agreed that some supplemental furniture pieces and accessories would be brought in to complete the rooms. At Carolina Spaces, we fill in the blanks!
Our staging was appropriate for the style, location and the $205,000 price point of the home. And it worked! This Charlotte, NC home received multiple offers immediately and was under contract within 24 hours! And it sold for $1,000 over list price!

Carolina Spaces was recently selected to stage two beautiful $1M+ new construction properties in the exclusive Eastover area of Charlotte, NC. We strive to take our standard above and beyond the competition, and we are always excited for the opportunity to work with new clients. Once our bid was selected, our team went straight to work! We developed a staging plan, selected appropriate furnishings and accessories from our 10,000 sq.ft. warehouse and professionally staged both homes.

This stunning $674,900 new construction in Charlotte, NC sat on the market for 9 months as a home builder's vacant spec home. Feedback from over 200 showings all came back consistent - the family room was too small. So, Carolina Spaces was called in to help! We brought in our stunning inventory and staged the property, paying close attention to the family room. Buyers have a hard time visualizing size and scale in a vacant property (truly, only 10% can visualize the potential of a property!), so we ensured that our staging showed room function and potential furniture placement. Our home staging worked, and this property was under contract in 19 days!
If you're familiar with project management, you undoubtedly know about the Project Triangle. It illustrates how for any product or service - timeline, quality and cost are interrelated.
