The model home design services of Carolina Spaces Furniture & Design were once again featured in the Metro Charlotte New Home Guide magazine.  Our merchandising of a builder's model home in Rock Hill, SC was showcased four times in the November 2018 - January 2019 issue, including our merchandisig of the kitchen, dining and outdoor living area of the home. This included the special Builder's Report section of the magazine, as the photo displayed for Lee Lighting's "A Selection of Current Trends in Home Lighting" article was of Carolina Spaces' merchandising of the kitchen and dining area of the Rock Hill model home.  The model was also highlighted as having won a Silver Award in the feature on Charlotte HBA's 2018 Parade of Homes winners.

Carolina Spaces' owner and lead designer, Joan Inglis, was recently asked by Redfin to provide her secrets on appealing to buyers in the Charleston, SC area, and her response was featured in their blog "37 Home Staging Experts Share the Secret to Appeal to Buyers in Your City."

"Charleston, SC home buyers want to see luxury finishes that are both functional and comfortable - large showers with overhead rainfal; kitchens with an abundance of natural light; and light fixture packages that complement the architecture of the home.  The most preferred colors in new construction, updating materials, and paint are neutrals mixed with whites.  Popular accent colors are all shades of blue.

Buyers want an open floor plan, but they get confused on how to layout furniture.  Builders and sellers need to furnish the open living, kitchen and eating area at a minimum in vacant houses.  Sellers are selling square footage; they should never show wasted space."

Carolina Spaces was recently selected to stage two beautiful $1M+ new construction properties in the exclusive Eastover area of Charlotte, NC.  We strive to take our standard above and beyond the competition, and we are always excited for the opportunity to work with new clients.  Once our bid was selected, our team went straight to work! We developed a staging plan, selected appropriate furnishings and accessories from our 10,000 sq.ft. warehouse and professionally staged both homes.

This stunning $674,900 new construction in Charlotte, NC sat on the market for 9 months as a home builder's vacant spec home. Feedback from over 200 showings all came back consistent - the family room was too small. So, Carolina Spaces was called in to help! We brought in our stunning inventory and staged the property, paying close attention to the family room. Buyers have a hard time visualizing size and scale in a vacant property (truly, only 10% can visualize the potential of a property!), so we ensured that our staging showed room function and potential furniture placement.
